Review of 2004 (cont'd)
Being an EXCO of JSECS was the experience from which I benefited most.
Thanks to Jonathan and many other EXCOs, I
was given lots of opprtunity to challenge myself and do things I never
did in the past. Yet we encountered great difficulty in finding
participants for activities. The EC Life Exhibition, from which
we had expected much success, was out of our expectation in terms of
the nubmers
of sponsors and spectators. Had we done a bit more, the results would
have
been more satisfactory...
Nevertheless, JSECS has moved its first
step to re-establish reputation among the secondary schools, and the
path is getting brighter and brighter. Hope everything will go well
afterwards!!!
HKLYM...it turned out to be a disappointment. Frankly speaking, I
didn't gain too much there in the presence of the DARK FACE. It's
hard to do things there because he imposed lots of restrictions on the
members. Its structure was also very strange since it cannot be
considered as an organization like a club or society in school; it can
only be described as a group of students united together whose target
is to promote Lasallain Spirit. I can say my Lasallian Spirit didn't
enhance much from there. Guys there, except few enthusiastic ones, were
not generally cooperative.
The TA-in-charge says the situation that the
number of attendees of meetings will decrease with time won't change
much, and I think so...
My heart for study arose only after F.7 started, and it is going so
slow...anyway try my best to overcome the difficult AL, and you should
do the same!!!
Now it's only about an hour away from 2005, so I wish all of you A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

| Time flies and 2004 is going to become a history. To me it's a very very meaningful year which I'll never forget...
I must say I earned most from the ECA. Involved in many preparation work of various activities, I've got a lot of experience I hardly got in the past. The experience let me know everyone in a group must be cooperative and united if the members of the group want success. They should get to know each other better through effective communication and active participation. Nobody can finish a job smoothly if he is not dedicated to it.
I'm also happy to meet so many friends and people from many walks of life. They have led me to a more colourful life and some gave me tonnes of support when I was working boringly and unhappily. Thanks all of you!!!!
